Moisés Hernández (1983) is the first Mexican to graduate from Ecal, Ecole Cantonale d’Art de Lausanne in the Master Product Design program, in Switzerland in 2013, obtaining special mention.
From 2014-2021 he set up his studio in Mexico City. His hometown, being chaotic and over populated, as well as Mexican objects, textures and chromatic diversity are elements influencing Moises’ work.
Moisés has exhibited his work in USA, Italy, France, Netherlands, Switzerland, Turkey, Hong Kong, Japan, Spain and Mexico. His work has been awarded by the Mexican Design Biennial INBA, The Good Design Award by the Chicago Atheneaum among others recognitions. He has worked with national and international companies like Hay (DK) Ligne Roset (France), Baccarat (France), PCM (Spain), Riva 1920 (Italy), Tane (Mx), Helvex (Mx), Mexa (Mx), and Pirwi (Mx) developing new concepts and products.
